Sooooulmates, have y’all tried Kalamaki? It was my first time and I built my own bowl with a side of corn. The shrimp was definitely my favorite! 🤤 Don’t judge my bowl 😂 I’m super picky, so I kept it simple, but I’d definitely go back. What’s your favorite thing to get there?

Throwback Tuesday laugh for y’all! 🤣🍓 Y’all know Sooooul Good started as “ A Sweet Escape “ with desserts back during COVID. I’m talking dipped strawberries, cakes, cookies… all of it!
Well, before I knew what a cake supply store was or that chef stores even existed, I was out here buying these containers from Dollar Tree. 😭😂
I remember somebody looked at my strawberries and said, “Girl, why you got them in your Tupperware?”
I had to explain, “Trust me, it’s brand new!” I just didn’t know nothing about containers!😂 Looking back, it’s funny because we all start somewhere. Now the presentation is 100x better, and if I make chocolate covered strawberries today, I actually know how to decorate them. 😅🍓✨ Moral of the story: don’t despise small beginnings. We didn’t know what we didn’t know, but we kept learning and growing. ❤️

Today makes 2 weeks off the truck… and honestly, it sucks. 💔

Life has a funny way of throwing things at you when you least expect it. We are STILL impatiently waiting on our inspection so we can get back on the road serving our Sooooulmates. At this point, it could be tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday, we truly don’t know. But trust me, the second we know, y’all will know!

We miss being out there more than y’all know, and we can’t wait to get back to doing what we love. ❤️
