Today I’m hosting a Sip and Dip at my home for the Huntsville Fiber Guild. I was asked to put out some of my work for them to view. These are all some of my early works which included a lot of variations of Nui Shibori.

I just love working with people that appreciate the art of Shibori. Today is going to be a good day!

School is out for Summer for my young family and I am ready to hit the pool, the beach, and also to join Water Country USA once we move. I absolutely love these Gauze Sarongs because I can use them over my bathing suit and at a restaurant at night to cover my shoulders. They’re great as a travel blanket too.

At 70x50” they are a good size for most bodies. Flip through the pictures to see different ways to fold, tie and wear one.

Come shop the items we don’t have listed online at the Greene Street Market tomorrow and Lowe Mills on Saturday. It’s the perfect opportunity to see each piece up close and snag something you can’t get anywhere else.

These caftans are both triangle fold Arashi Shibori - the only difference is the size of the pole. The one on the left (more blue) was wrapped on a 4” pole and the one on the right (more white) was wrapped on a 3” pole.
