I got tired of guessing if a dust collector would work for me, so I made a neat tool to help! It's clearly a tool made by an engineer, so you might want to spend 2 minutes on the guided demo. After that see if you can optimize your home setup or safe yourself a few hundred on a DC that may or may not be right for you.

The first web-based CAD tool specifically built for woodworking shops. Calculate CFM, static pressure, and visualize duct runs in 3D.

The little table.

Made with scraps from Oak, cherry, and mahogany. This was a short and quick exercise in making a table. The aprons are attached with sliding dovetails, and figure eight clips are used to keep the top down. The legs all have tapers on the insides.

The star was carved with a chisel.

Measures about 12" x 12" x 12"

They're all small enough to fit in your hand.

It was only after I finished that I thought about all of them stacking. Doh!

Made from a scrap log that was thrown in the dump bucket. One man's trash is another's project! Wood turning is so much fun, and a great way to use every little scrap.amd cutoff.

Photos from the recent reel. Custom made bar top tables made by yours truly and a friend here in Denver! These are the statement pieces your home bar (or restaurant) needs to impress that one person (you know who!)

Barrels come from the , local in Denver! Spools were found in an old field full of used railroad ties, then they were sanded, cleaned up and coated with an epoxy bar top finish. The barrels are reinforced and coated with polyurethane.

I've spent a number of hours at the Red Rocks Community College Fine Woodworking department this past fall. To show it all off virtually, I've put together a a 32 page digital booklet with photos, descriptions of all of my recent works from the Fall of 2023, as well as 74 high resolution photos of each of the works. All of which were completed during my time at Red Rocks Community College. Some were specific class projects while others were my extra practice outside of classes. I spent 6-7 days a week most weeks from September to Mid-December either for class projects, quick things around the house, or getting as much practice on a Lathe as I could.

Tools are expensive, and if you'd like to see the book, consider purchasing it from my website! This is a great way to support my education path, future workshop, and help me pay for that 6" double square ruler (120$, hopefully the last one I'll ever need!).
