After a decade helming one of the finest kitchens in South Florida, Pit-Master, Local Business Owner, and Gator Dad, Rick Mace, hung up his chef

whites and set his mind on simple cooking with quality ingredients fueled by a hardwood pit fire. Tropical Smokehouse does it the old-fashioned way. We work with our hands and focus on the details. Florida is more than a vacation destination; we believe it’s the true birthplace of American barbecue.
