To celebrate this amazing weekly gathering, we are officially extending our hours every Thursday this summer.

We’ll open after normal business hours from 4-7 PM so you can grab your favorite treats, iced lattes, charcuterie and pastry boxes while you stroll Main Street. Come celebrate the incredible culture, local creators, and community spirit that make West Chicago so special.

Ready for the ultimate cozy summer reading evening? We are taking Raised to Read’s Silent Book Club to the library lawn for a true picnic experience! Here’s the game plan:

1️⃣ Meet at Raised Bakery and Cafe to grab a barista special drink and delicious charcuterie or pastry box. ☕️🧀

2️⃣ Head over to the library lawn with your blanket, find a cozy spot, and settle in.

3️⃣ Enjoy uninterrupted, silent reading with fellow book lovers. No assigned reading, no pressure - just good books and good vibes.

📅 When: Thursday, June 25th from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

📍 Where: Start at Raised Bakery and Cafe, then walk to the Library Lawn
