Good Morning to literally stop and smell the roses.... ☕💛🌹

May you enjoy your life as is and notice all the miracles that surround you daily. Every single tiny detail tells a fascinating story...if only we slow down to witness them.

My late husband was notorious for making me stop whatever I am doing to listen to a bird's sweet song, as he preciously shared with me what kind of bird it is. I am so thankful for these moments because I don't want to go about life tuning out the most beautiful things especially his heart. I want to be filled with wonder and grace listening and looking always for these miracles that can only be seen by slowing down and savoring. When we are tired and feel discouraged by life's daily struggles, we may not notice these miracles, but they are always there.

I once stopped while driving as I noticed a mouse crossing the road, zig zagging as she lovingly corralled close to her a tiny one to safely cross the road. I immediately was thankful that I was observant as if I had been in a rush, circumstances could have been tragic for the mice. And would have missed out on a blessing as I watched her lovingly guide the little one with sweet thoughts of protecting children and grandchildren. I was so very thankful for witnessing this sweet mouse family story that still touches my heart so tenderly!

This is my prayer today as I sip my tea, watching and waiting for miraculous stories to unfold. May I encourage us all to slow down and take notice of the little things...for often they are indeed the most important things in life.

Good Morning! 💛☕💛
A slowdown in one's life is most beneficial to sit back watch life grow. I have found that by tending a garden I have gleaned many valuable life lessons. You must have a vision and goals to make a garden happen.

First, you need to have a plan and put your goals into motion of what type of garden you desire to create.

Secondly, there is the back breaking preparation of the ground itself, removing sod and weeds, tilling up existing soil and amending as needed with appropriate measures of fertilizer.

The third step is the planting of plants, seeds, bulbs, and staking of supports where needed. There is also the daily upkeep of watering, weeding and pruning.

When all of the above 3 steps have been met; there is the fourth step of waiting that produces both a mixture of patience and satisfaction of hard work.

This step to me is the most important part of gardening as it compares with life itself. You never know what results you are going to get. In gardening as well as our lives, there are many factors that come to play out in desired results and often disappointments. Yet you press on anyways trusting that your hard work and faithfulness will pay off in a fruitful reward. And when it doesn't produce as you had hoped for; you try and try again. We patiently learn and grow ourselves in this time of waiting and expectation.

There are all kinds of weather that can either make us or break us. We must choose to make the storms in life refine us and make us stronger. Family, health, loss, relationships, and career changes have a way of bringing a variety of results. Some situations in our lives are fruitful and some not so much. True in our lives as it is in gardening, we must never give up. We try and try again in every season. 💛

I did a silly thing today!
I totally forgot to promote today's drawing. Resourceful I am, I took the 12 names of those who signed our Tea Party Guestbook today.

In celebrating the West Branch Farmer's Market 2026 season, Bella Tea Room will hosting a drawing. We will be choosing 3 lucky participants to receive a Teatime Care Package from Bella Tea Room! Come see us today, 8am-2pm on June 6th to S. 3rd Street. Do have a cup of tea today and enter the Bella Tea Room drawing. 3 winners will be posted on Saturday evening and will recieve their Teatime Care Package the following Saturday.
