FOOD GEEKS UPDATE: WE WON IN COURT! 🙌🏽🙏🏽

Today, we walked into court and walked out with a VICTORY! Every claim our landlord brought against us was dismissed, and the proper legal process had not been followed.

But here’s the reality: Just because we won in court doesn’t mean we should stay in an environment where we’re constantly fighting just to operate our business.

After everything we’ve experienced, we’ve made the difficult decision to RELOCATE Food Geeks Eatery. Unfortunately, the relationship with our current landlord has become impossible to work through, and we refuse to continue operating under those circumstances.

📢 OUR FINAL DAY AT OUR CURRENT LOCATION WILL BE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2026!

Until then, we invite everyone to come out, enjoy your favorite Food Geeks meals, and help us close this chapter with love and support!

We’ve poured our hearts, finances, time, and countless sacrifices into building Food Geeks. This journey has tested us in ways many people will never understand.

But this is NOT the end of Food Geeks. This is the beginning of a NEW CHAPTER!

We’re choosing peace over conflict, growth over frustration, and our future over fighting battles that distract us from our purpose.

❤️ WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS NEXT CHAPTER POSSIBLE!

Relocating a restaurant comes with tremendous expenses, and we’re asking our community to stand with us during this transition.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe to help Food Geeks relocate and reopen in a new home. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. And if you’re unable to give, sharing our fundraiser is just as appreciated.

🙏🏽 PLEASE DONATE TO OUR GOFUNDME — LINK IN BIO!

To everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, donated, shared our story, or simply walked through our doors to enjoy a meal — THANK YOU! ❤️

We’re not giving up. We’re moving forward, and we believe what’s ahead will be greater than what we’re leaving behind.

FOOD GEEKS IS RELOCATING — NOT CLOSING OUR STORY! 🔥

Come see us before October 24th, and stay connected as we prepare to announce our new home!

FOOD GEEKS FAMILY — WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT ❤️

After a very difficult year, we have made the hard decision to close our current Waxhaw, NC Food Geeks location within the next few weeks.

We would love to stay in Waxhaw, but not under the current conditions. So we are actively looking for a new home where Food Geeks can continue to grow, serve families, and be part of the community.

This is not the end of Food Geeks. This is our next chapter.

We are a family-owned business, and over the past year we have taken some major losses. But we still believe in what we’ve built, and we are grateful for every customer, every prayer, every meal purchased, and every person who has supported our family.

Here’s how you can help us right now:

1. Continue eating with us while we are still open.
2. Purchase Food Geeks merchandise.
3. Let us know if you know of a vacant restaurant space.
4. Pray for our family and business.
5. Donate to our GoFundMe.
6. Share this post and our story.

❤️ Support our GoFundMe:

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this post helps more than you know.

We’re believing that the right location, the right opportunity, and the right next chapter are ahead.

Same family. Same food. Bigger purpose.

Thank you for standing with Food Geeks. ❤️

WHO’S LEADING YOUR LIFE?

Sometimes we say we want God’s will, but our decisions are actually being led by our feelings, fear, pressure, culture, disappointment, or what feels comfortable.

Tonight at The Living Room Experience, we’re talking about what it really means to bring your life back into alignment with Jesus and His Word.

We’re going to deal with questions like: How do you know when you’re out of alignment with God? How do you recognize His voice? What happens when your feelings and God’s Word don’t agree? And how do you move from hearing God to actually obeying Him?

DINNER IS FREE — JUST BRING A BIBLE.
