All Florida Avenue Grill Thanksgiving catering orders must be finalized by 5pm today (Mon Nov 20)… Offerings are: Baked Chicken, Fried Chicken, Fried Catfish, Salmon Cake Patties. Sides: Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, Candied Yams, Potato Salad, and Cornbread Muffins. Half and whole pans available.

Email your requested MENU and QUANTITY to [email protected] and we will respond with a quote for you. Please include your name and phone number in your email.

If we are already in discussion regarding your job, please kindly approve & return your quote to us today by 5pm.

All orders are pickup. Pickup time is 12-2pm Wed Nov 22.

With this support—and YOUR continued support DC—we are also happy to announce that STARTING NEXT WED NOV 15th we will now be OPEN WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS from 9am - 2pm in addition to our current hours of 9am -2pm FRI-SUN!

Thanks for standing by us as we continue to serve you as we have . We look forward to continuing to expand our hours of operation back towards our pre-pandemic levels.

Pick your favorite selections from our Special Holiday Menu:

Southern Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Cajun-Fried Catfish, Barbecue Ribs, Smothered Pork Chops (with Gravy), Collard Greens, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Candied Yams, Fresh Cornbread Muffins, Potato Salad, and Homemade Apple Pie

All orders are Pick-Up Only and must be placed 8 days in advance. $500 minimum.
Warmer boxes are available to rent for transporting food.

We are closed Dec 25 to Dec 29 but providing catering right up thru Dec 24 (for Christmas Dinner). We re-open on New Year’s Day Weekend (Fri, Sat & Sun) and we’ll be serving the New Year’s Day specials like black-eyed peas and collard greens. Still here for you DC

Florida Avenue Grill is closed today in commemoration of the Fourth of July… We will reopen again on Friday, still with our limited hours: Fri, Sat & Sun 9am-2pm. from the Florida Avenue Grill! 🎅🏿 ... We will be closed for the holidays from Dec 21 thru Dec 31, reopening on January 1st and serving our traditional New Years Cuisine: Black Eyed Peas and Collard Greens.

In 2021, due to the pandemic, we will be continuing with our limited hours and days of operations. We will be continue being open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. From 9am to 2pm each day serving carry out only.

The City belongs to the People! In that spirit Florida Avenue Grill is REOPENING on Friday June 5, 2020! We will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays serving Breakfast Only 9am-2pm. Beware there are multiple unauthorized people purportedly raising money to “save” here on IG and elsewhere. None of these solicitations are authorized. They are done without our knowledge or consent. Nor have any funds donated been given to the Grill... The Grill is not going out of business. We are closed, like most other restaurants, due to the COVID pandemic... If there ever is a future legit crowdfunding effort on behalf of the Grill you will hear about it from us through our social media etc.
