This Sunday, I’m choosing to notice what’s already in my cup: gratitude, love, favor, confidence, peace, joy, grace, hope, strength, and purpose.

Sometimes we get so focused on what’s missing that we forget to pause and recognize what God has already poured into our lives. The cup may not look exactly the way we imagined, and the season may not be perfect, but there is still goodness here.

Today, I’m grateful for the blessings I can see, the ones I almost overlooked, and even the ones still unfolding.

My cup runneth over. 💗☕️

What’s overflowing in your cup today?

Savor the moment before you move to the next one.

We spend so much time thinking about what’s next that we can miss what’s already good.

The conversation.
The quiet.
The meal.
The laughter.
The cup in your hand.

Before you rush into the weekend, take a minute to notice where you are.

Some moments don’t need to be improved.

They just need to be enjoyed.

Rest doesn’t always begin when your head hits the pillow.

Sometimes it begins with a single sip, when you lower the noise, slow your pace, and let the warmth of your cup remind you that the day is almost done.

Sip away the rush.
Sip away the noise.
Sip away what you don’t need to carry into the night.

Sometimes the sip is the exhale.

Tonight, pour a cup, find a quiet corner, and give your mind and body a few peaceful moments to prepare for rest.

How you end your day is just as important as how you start it.

Sometimes the sip is the exhale.

Not every pause has to be long to matter.

Sometimes it’s the few minutes you give yourself before answering the next email, starting the next task, or taking care of everybody else.

A warm cup.
A slower breath.
A moment stolen just for yourself.

That’s the ritual.

You don’t have to earn the pause. You can simply take it.

STEep.

Before you pour into the day, give yourself a moment to steep.

To sit.
To breathe.
To gather your thoughts.
To check in with yourself before everybody and everything else starts asking for your attention.

Because just like tea, some things need a little time before they’re ready.

You don’t always need to rush into the next thing. Sometimes the most intentional thing you can do is allow yourself a few quiet minutes to become present.

Steep is the pause.
The moment you come back to yourself.

Then you can Sip.
Then you can Savor.

More than Tea. Steeped with Intention.

Sundays aren’t just for spiritual self-care.

They can also be for slowing down, resting your body, quieting your mind, and doing something that simply feels good.

And this video made me smile because someone ordered this Tea Lover’s Café gift for someone special — and the recipient sent me this sweet little video after receiving it.

A warm cup of tea.
A few uninterrupted minutes.
A little pampering.
A reminder that caring for yourself doesn’t always have to be complicated.

Sometimes, it’s just giving yourself permission to pause.

Steep. Sip. Savor.

Because everybody needs a little TLC.

It’s never too young to dress up and have tea. 💕🫖

This memory came up today, and after the sermon I heard this morning, it hit a little differently.

The message was about how God creates the space first, then places what is needed in it.

Long before there was a Tea Lover’s Café, I was already creating spaces for women and girls to gather, connect, dress up, enjoy tea, and simply be present with one another through Women Walking in Their Own Shoes.

At the time, I wasn’t thinking about building a tea business. I was just creating the space.

Now, looking back, I can see how some things were being prepared long before I understood what they would become.

Maybe Tea Lover’s Café wasn’t the beginning.

Maybe it was something God had already been making room for.

More than tea. Steeped with intention.

Some investments in a vision don’t come with a check. Sometimes, they come wrapped in history, love, and family tradition.

My friend Rachel recently gifted Tea Lover’s Café pieces of her mother’s china, trusting me with something that carries memories and meaning far beyond the pieces themselves.

That touched me deeply.

Because when someone shares a piece of their family story with what you’re building, they’re saying, I see your vision. I believe there’s a place for this here.

These beautiful pieces will now become part of the tables we create—holding tea, conversation, connection, and new memories while carrying a little history with them.

Rachel, thank you for investing in the vision of Tea Lover’s Café in such a beautiful and personal way. I will treasure them and serve with them with love.

More than Tea. Steeped with Intention.
