A customer shared this sweet thank-you card that her friend gave her, and it absolutely made my day! 💕

It’s the little treats and thoughtful details that make someone feel extra special and loved on their special day. Knowing that my creations get to be part of these beautiful moments makes what I do even more meaningful. 🥰

Appreciate you so much!

Painting a cake is so much fun! 🎨

When I first moved here to the US, I started painting on canvas as a way to explore a new hobby and learn something different. So when a friend asked me to create a cake for her daughter, who absolutely loves Monet’s paintings, I got excited!

Buttercream is actually quite similar to acrylic paint!😁 I used a palette knife for most of the painting to create those textures and added some piping for the vines and flowers.

Claude Monet-inspired 18th Birthday Cake for Yzabel.

My first time making a painting cake, I was nervous but so excited to see how it would turn out!

I used two different palette knives to create the beautiful textures and bring this Monet-inspired design to life. There were definitely moments of doubt, but they say “trust the process”… and I did! And I’m so happy with the outcome.

Thank you so much, Nube Cowan, for trusting me to create a special cake for your beautiful daughter Yzzy Cowan on such an important milestone💕

Turning 18 is a BIG deal for girls in the Philippines! 🇵🇭 Similar to a Quinceañera or Sweet 16 here in the U.S., Filipinos celebrate an 18th birthday with a Debut—a traditional coming-of-age celebration marking a young woman’s transition into adulthood.
