Tucked into the lush hills of Barbados, surrounded by tropical greenery, with just 8 women joining us for a few days of rest, connection, laughter, good food and room to simply be.

Unhidden: The Gifts We Don't Talk About is an open, grounded conversation about intuition, spiritual sensitivity, inner knowing, and the gifts we may carry but rarely feel safe discussing.

This isn't about assigning labels or convincing anyone what to believe. It's a space for curiosity, reflection, shared stories, and honest conversation.

I unapologetically decided to keep The Green Coterie closed for the day today.

On a Saturday.

A beautiful Saturday, at that.

And yes, the businesswoman in me absolutely whispered, “But what if somebody stops by today?”

I heard her.

And stayed home anyway. 😂

Today, I want to be home.

I want to putter around my house, move some things, clean some things, probably start something I have no business starting, and just enjoy being in my own space.

There was a time when I would have felt guilty about that. Like every opportunity to work had to be taken. Every open hour had to be productive. Every possible customer had to outweigh whatever I needed personally.

Not today.

I built The Green Coterie around the idea that we should listen to ourselves. That rest matters. That our lives shouldn't always come second to our responsibilities.

Apparently, sometimes the lesson comes home with you.

So today, the doors are closed.

The house is getting some love.

I'm getting some love.

And strangely enough, I don't feel guilty at all.

That might be the best part.
