After 20 unforgettable years, the doors of Anita’s Family Restaurant in Nokomis are closing for good. 💙
This place has been more than a restaurant — it’s been a second home. We’ve shared meals, milestones, laughter, late nights, and countless memories with this incredible community. From our loyal guests to our past and present team members, you’ve all been part of the Anita’s family, and we are deeply grateful.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye, this moment has been a long time coming — and it comes with excitement, not sadness. Change is in the air, and it’s time for the next chapter.

We’re proud to say Anita’s is evolving into Blue Barracuda, soon to be Nokomis’s top destination for live entertainment, craft cocktails, and bold food fusions. A fresh brand, a new energy, and a whole new experience — while still being rooted in the community we love.

We are delighted to announce our special hours and offerings for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th.

Open for Breakfast: Join us for your usual favorites and a cozy start to the holiday!

Harvest Specials: Chef Ryan has prepared some truly amazing Harvest Specials featuring the comforting flavors of the season. Come taste the warmth and creativity!

Early Closing: We will be closing at 1:30 PM sharp.

We are so grateful for our amazing guests and the opportunity to serve you. Closing early allows our dedicated staff to get home in time to enjoy dinner and precious time with their own families, and we thank you for understanding!
