We are open Easter Sunday from 7-12. Plenty of pastries and extra desserts if you need something to take to your sister's house.

We are looking forward to a fun, busy weekend - new snow at and lots of Easter baking on the menu - speckled egg sugar cookies, coconut cream pies, carrot cake, lemon curd tarts, and of course plenty of cinnamon rolls and danish pastries. Following this weekend we will be closed for two weeks. Our staff will be resting, traveling to see family, and freshening up the space at the bakery. Come see us this weekend and stock up on all your favorites!

4.5 years ago, Kodi joined our team, and tomorrow is, unbelievably, his last shift at the bakery. For all these years he has shown up in the wee hours of every morning to get ovens on and gravy started and cinnamon rolls shaped . . . quietly, relentlessly improving every baked good, every process, until it's hard to remember anything before him. Both artistic and efficient, he never stopped trying to make things perfect and usually got pretty close. He made us laugh, helped us keep perspective, taught us how to work smarter and how to love harder.

We don't have many pictures of him because he doesn't like the spotlight. But this one, taken a couple of years ago on a Fourth of July when he made and wrapped hundreds of chocolate chip cookies to hand out at the parade, represents Kodi pretty well. Fiercely loyal, deeply generous, creative, witty and kind. We've been lucky to work by your side, to learn from you, and to call you friend. Thank you for everything you've done for the bakery. We know you will make the next adventure just as brilliant.
