Well…
I officially started Rachel Bakes on March 16, 2016. Now, after 9 years, Rachel Bakes is taking a break. Currently, I am not taking anymore orders for the rest of 2025. I am currently in the process of moving, and working on some personal and business goals that require me to take a step back.
There will be a couple exceptions to my plan:
1. My regular and repeat clients should always inquire.
2. If you have an AMAZING cake design I just can’t say “no” to, HMU because I don’t want to miss out!
So, what does this mean for the future of Rachel Bakes? I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll come back with a brick and mortar bakery in 2026. Maybe I’ll pivot and only make fake cakes. Maybe I’ll close RB forever. Who knows? I gotta keep you on your toes 😘
It has been quite the journey when I think about the times I didn’t sleep for 48 hours straight, baking in my brother and sister-in-law’s kitchen when I first started, surviving a pandemic, the cool cakes I brought to life, all the friends I made 🥰. To all of you who supported Rachel Bakes and made it what it is today, I could never thank you enough 🙏🏽
