Step By Step Ministry is committed to advancing equity, empowerment, and social justice for individuals reentering society after incarceration. This role is central to helping participants overcome barriers and gain access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

The Resource Navigator will support participants by identifying challenges related to economic stability, healthcare access, transportation, and other essential needs. This position works closely with clients to understand their situations, connect them to vetted community agencies, and guide them through systems that can often be difficult to navigate.

Key responsibilities include responding to referrals, conducting outreach virtually and in person, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating community resources, and participating in events and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, relationship‑building, and providing support to diverse or underserved communities.
