While there are some amazing boondocking spots around Alaska, there are also some stretches where’s it’s difficult to fine one especially if you have a larger rig. Of course find those perfect spots but plan ahead during peak season because often times spots are taken and parks are full

Up here, “boondocking” often means pulling onto the shoulder with semis and traffic flying by all night.
