We caught some Spanish and pompano today, and a few VA mullet last night.

The weather looks great for tomorrow and Saturday, then showers Saturday night and Sunday.

Colin and Dave hammered the big pompano yesterday!! Lots of big blues hitting GotCha lures daytime, and cut bait after dark. Some red drum in the mix.

The start of a beautiful day, looking eastward before the sun comes up, and westward as the full harvest moon sets. The moon was amazing last night as it rose over the ocean, and will be again tonight. We have a great forecast for this week as we move into October!!

Fishing was hot this weekend for big blues! Gotcha lures, cut bait, and live bait all worked, and these are fat Fall blues, 3-10 pounds. We're still catching nice red drum, from slot to over slot size. Lots of baitfish are still pouring down the beach. Pic is Slade Powell with a 33 lb. king caught this morning!

The bite continues! Here are Jay with a 22 lb. king caught yesterday, Brenda with a 32” red drum caught and released last night, and Jay and Richard with 21 and 29 lb. kings landed this morning! Jay caught his on a GotCha lure with 12 lb. test line! Lots of blues for the past several nights, with Spanish in the mix during the daytime.

Currently we have a North wind at about 12-15mph, and cooler temps, with clear skies predicted through the middle of next week.

We had a good day for Kings yesterday! Pictured are Chris - 24 lbs., CJ - 18 lbs., Tyler - 22 lbs., and Dink - 29 lbs. The action was good for both blues and Spanish hitting Gotcha lures during the day, and the blues kept chewing after dark, along with some slot size red drum.

It’s slick calm and clear now - the forecast is for cooler weather after today!

Here's Colin with a fat 43 lb. King landed this morning! We have partly cloudy skies and a nice NE breeze today! Lots of baitfish are stacked up around the pier. We caught some Spanish late yesterday and then drum, croakers, and a few spots after dark.

Clear skies are forecast through Monday.

Good fishing this week, catching everything from spots to Kings! Lots of baitfish continue to stream by, both glass minnows and mullet. There was a great red drum bite last night, with lots of fish in the 25-31 inch range. Greg caught and released this big Tarpon on Tuesday, estimated 110 lbs. AND he caught the 31 lb. King today. Fall fishing has begun!

We're seeing lots of baitfish and the Spanish and Kings have turned on! Pictured are Greg with a 32 lb. king, Chris and Hunter with 24 and 31 lb. kings, (caught Saturday) and Jason with a 15 lb. king caught this morning! The Spanish hit in good numbers yesterday, and they’re back this morning - and getting bigger! Last night we caught more red drum, VA mullet, and pompano. Flounder season is open through tomorrow, 9/14/26.

Pictured are Andre with a 31” red drum, Dorothy with a slot-sized red drum caught yesterday, Chris with a 14 lb. King caught this afternoon and Chris with 31 lb. King just landed!

Lots of baitfish are streaming by the pier now, and the action for drum, Spanish, blues, and flounder is picking up! VA mullet and black drum are in the mix also. Flounder season is open through 9/14/26.

Another pretty September day today, with lots of sunshine and light winds.
