Our bakery-cafe closed at the end of 2014, and our home-based bakery the next year. I recently was tracked down by a former employee missing our cookies, and a customer missing our cupcakes. I, too, have fond memories of those years and the people we served, even though my family never earned a penny except for the money paid to our daughter and other employees. Sometimes I fantasize about a home-based mini restaurant, not legal back then but enabled by Riverside County later, but at our ages, it's highly unlikely! Miss you guys.

Our bakery-cafe in downtown Temecula closed permanently in December 2014. For almost two years, we have had a licensed Cottage Food Operation at our home in Wine Country. Although we bake infrequently, some of our bakery products from our former bakery-cafe have been available legally through the Laurel Inn Kitchen. We are trying to figure out how to change our FB presence to reflect reality, while still being connected to those who only know us as All of the Above Incorporated. (The
corporation will be closed as of last year.) Any suggestions welcomed!

Hello friends and former customers. Probably due to my activity on Temecula Politics and Temecula Talks, I notice that an increasing number of people are looking at this page. So I should repeat, that the retail bakery-cafe closed its doors in December 2014; that space on Jefferson is currently occupied by Sposito's. Therefore, our former contact information is invalid; Verizon email permanently and the business phone probably temporarily. We are a licensed CFO, the Laurel Inn Kitchen, but currently taking a break from baking, primarily due to personal family matters. We should be able to provide bread, muffins, cupcakes, popovers, and our other popular items, on a custom basis, soon. If you are reading this, contact me via Facebook!

We have been inactive since late last year, due primarily to family issues, but expect that to change soon. Facebook is still one of the best ways to reach us, and sometimes the only way! ( I will post here when our business line becomes a cellphone capable of receiving text messages and emails.) Although I don't miss running a retail bakery-cafe, I do miss being face-to-face with our customers!

The ingredients are chilling, the pie press brought out of storage and sanitized, and I'm headed to the kitchen to make our two pie crusts. Both are gluten free, soyfree, rice-based, and contain organic palm shortening; the difference is our vegan recipe uses Earth Balance soyfree, flax free, buttery spread and our other uses casein free Purity Farms ghee. $6 for ghee; $5 for vegan.

We also will have sandwich bread ($6) and dinner rolls (12 for $6.50); popovers ($1 each, minimum 6); oat apple spice muffins with blueberry or apple ($9 for 6) and a few other goodies such as individual carrot cake cupcakes and regular cupcakes for the non-traditional among you!

Since we no longer have a storefront and are now a cottage food operation, getting our product is a bit tricky. Either you drive to Wine Country (lovely!), I deliver to you, or I meet you near the freeway. We will work it out! Leave a message at 693-4000.

Craving a gluten-free and vegan cupcake? Plan a visit this afternoon to Batter Up in Old Town Murrieta. I will be delivering chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, with chocolate or vanilla frosting, at noon today. Our cupcakes, muffins, and brownies are also at Wilson Creek Winery's Sunday brunch, as always!

Hello one and all. I was out-of-state for 10 days and busier than expected upon my return, so have been silent for too long. Back to baking soon, especially muffins! This is Ballloon Festival Weekend so I am undecided about whether I should wade through LKe Skinner traffic to get to the Menifee Farmers Market tomorrow but might be persuaded to go if any of you place orders for pickup there....We are, as before, custom baking for orders confirmed by telephone. I hope that all the moms out there had a great Mothers' Day. This mom was super busy baking but I am taking a much- needed vacation with my daughter until shortly before Memorial Day. We won't be at the Farmers Market next weekend, or baking until the 21st. I do have sandwich loaves and some slider buns in the freezer, but I can't promise that my husband will answer the business phone! I will check Facebook now and then while Imam gone....

What gluten-free, vegan, or paleo Mother's Day goodies will you need? If it's breakfast-in-bed, we have muffins! (All gf, and some vegan or paleo.) I will be baking tomorrow, so hurry if you need to add to my bake list! We will be baking muffins, cupcakes, carrot cakes, brownies, and dinner rolls for Wilson Creek Winery's Brunch, and Almond Brothers cookies as well. Cupcakes in floral papers have been popular in the past, and our chocolate Tuxedo Torte or bundt cake are both family-friendly if you're eating in! Pick up in wine country tomorrow P.M. or this Sunday at the Menifee Certified Farmers Market at Wickerd Farms, or arrange delivery or meeting somewhere near the freeway. Stock up, as I will be out of town and not baking again, or at the Farmers Market, until Memorial Day weekend.

Sorry for the short notice, but we won't be at the Farmers Market today; my husband twisted his knee and we won't be able to set up at Wickerd Farms today. I did bake fresh jicama muffins, a variation on our popular pumpkin muffins especially with Stacey in mind!
