Maisie’s conflicted…on one hand she wants to be in the pageant. On the other, she’s glad other pups can be adopted like her.

Big improvements happening here at Maisie’s Green Brae! We have sanded down and refinished roughly 1/3 of the tables. We can’t wait to have the rest of the tables done and ready for you!

Maisie is proud to introduce her newest friend, our bar manager Jaquan Snellings! 

Jaquan has experience building strong beverage programs that are innovative with something for everyone. Creating memorable guest experiences even in big areas like Maisie’s Green Brae is very important to him. He adds valuable bar and restaurant experience that range from rooftop bars in Columbia to hotels in Charlotte. We can’t wait for you to meet him!

Here’s an update with some stats this week!
In less than 29 days we have used at least 15 gallons of paint, we have tightened 50 chairs, put more than 30 plants in the ground, replaced 30 plus light switches and outlets in the front of house, stripped down 4 tables to bare wood, cleaned out more than 10 years worth of stuff out of the attic, and our favorite stat is that we have replaced 80 plus light fixtures. As Karl would say, “It’s lit up like the sun in here”! We still don't have a definitive opening date, but we’ll let you know as soon as possible!

Here’s a little sneak peak of the progress being made at Maisie’s Green Brae! Huge shout out to both Legacy Design and Build, and Carroll's ACE Hardware for helping us make great progress so quickly! All the paint we are using inside and out is from Carroll’s Ace Hardware. The renovation and painting done by Legacy Design and Build. We have had such a great experience working with both of them!

It’s still too early to announce an opening date. Hopefully soon!
