Did you know there are ABC and Health Department rules for a reason?
If you’re not sure what ABC is, it’s the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. They are the agency that gives us our liquor license, allowing us to legally sell alcohol and keep our doors open.
When you bring outside food or drinks into The Bank, especially alcohol, you are putting us at risk of being fined or losing our licenses.
You are also NOT allowed to take alcohol from inside The Bank outside. There are signs posted on the doors that clearly say this. Alcohol cannot leave our licensed area. It is against the law and puts our liquor license at risk.
If you are standing in the parking lot across from our establishment drinking out of your trunk, the police will be called and you will be asked to leave.
If you bring alcohol into The Bank, whether it’s beer, wine, little shot bottles or anything else, you will be 86’d. If you take alcohol from inside The Bank outside, you will also be 86’d.
And I don’t know if you remember my rule, but I don’t give second chances anymore. Once you’re 86’d, you’re out forever.
You are all adults. Drink at home before you come to the bar if you can’t afford to drink while you’re here. But do not be so disrespectful that you put my business and every one of my employees in a position where we could all lose our jobs. You could potentially go to jail, and I’m not playing about the laws. I have worked to damn hard to keep this place a safe, fun place to go in our little town. Don’t get us shut down because you’re a disrespectful assjack who can’t follow the rules.
Thanks,
Melissa
