“Dot” cake trend: Cake Pop Edition

My grocery delivery came with the wrong sprinkles, so I went with pink nonpareils instead. SO CUTE, right?!

Buuuuut then I took a bite. EW. Zero stars for taste and texture. I think it’d be fine on a cupcake or cake slice, because of sufficient cake/icing-to-sprinkle ratio. In my opinion, cake pops simply aren’t ideal for this trend; the sprinkles overpowered everything else and were honestly just annoying.

Rating: 2/10

Several years ago, my brother moved into an off-base apartment that was infested with mice. As his big sister, it was obviously my duty to remind him of that on his next birthday. This cake was so much fun!! 😜🐭

I haven’t hugged him in 2 1/2 years due to his current oversees Naval assignment. We miss him tremendously, but know he’s right where we need him to be. So grateful for his dedication and his friendship. Happy Birthday, Cody—I love you!! 🥳
