Pretzel buns or rolls

Like soft pretzels? These rolls have the same taste and texture as your favorite soft pretzel, but they're shaped into either buns or sausage rolls.

Great burgers, sausages, and sandwiches start on a good foundation and these buns/rolls are just that. They'll be quite a showstopper for those burgers and brats, or even just piled with your favorite sandwich fixings at home.

The dark crust catches the eye, but that first bite through the crust into the soft, slightly buttery interior lets you know there’s more to them than just pretty.

A recipe makes either ten 3.5 oz buns, eight approximately 4.5 oz rolls, or five buns and four rolls if you want to mix and match. Instead of salt, I can also top them with everything bagel topping if you'd like.

Same price for any and all: $10 for a batch.

p.s. ask about a jar of my charred onion relish to go with your buns! It's easily one of my more popular jarred items and goes great on sausages!

Chocolate Chunk Muffins

These muffins have serious chocolate flavor and are the biggest of all the muffins I make. They weigh in at about a quarter pound each!

The muffin base starts with some sugar, to which I add browned butter and a healthy amount of sour cream.

I mix in flour to which I've added plenty of chopped chocolate.

The result is a muffin that's a little denser and moister than my other muffins. Sweet, but with the tang from the sour cream and the nuttiness of the browned butter.

The chopped chocolate, as opposed to chips, ensures that you get those chunks of chocolate in there, but the finer pieces and dust almost melt into the batter.

Without the usual binders and emulsifiers you find in chips, the chocolate flavor comes forward more and the pieces more readily melt in your mouth.

These are about the same price as store bought of the same size, but they're in a league of their own.

$25 for a dozen muffins.

Charred Onion Relish

This has got to be one of my more popular items. Small wonder when it taste this good!

I start with red onions and char them in the oven. When I say char, I mean it. I go til there are blackened spots and the onions have reduced down by about half. I then add chopped cucumber and spices.

It’s slightly sweet, a little hot, and just a little smoky from the char on the onions. You will love this on sausages, hot dogs, and burgers.

Couple pro tips? Make your own burger sauce by combining some ketchup, mayo, relish, and salt. Great on burgers, but also great to dip fries in! Or, for a quick dinner, cook up some frozen chicken strips, put them on hamburger buns with cheese, mayo, and a spoonful of this relish for a fast and delicious sandwich.

$8 for a pint jar, $4 for half pint.

Homemade strawberry vanilla jam.

When my homegrown strawberries come ripe, I put them with in-season strawberries from the store and turn them into strawberry vanilla jam.

Not much fancy in this jam, it’s just good fruit, real sugar--not corn syrup, and enough actual vanilla (look for the flecks of vanilla bean in there) to hint at its flavor without hitting you in the face.

Soft and spreadable straight out of the fridge, this is a great one for those PBJ’s on soft white bread.

$6 for a half pint jar.

Vanilla Biscotti -- Regular or Gluten Free

Before anything else, I just wanted to add a quick note: I sell the singles at 50 cents each, Marketplace doesn't allow for partial dollars.

After a recent test batch (and a thumbs up from my wife), I'm offering gluten free vanilla biscotti.

If you'd like (and it's a dollar less since the ingredients are cheaper), I can also make these with wheat flour.

Either way, this is one of coffee's favorite sidekicks. I make mine with real butter, vanilla, and just a hint of almond flavor. Then I top them with some sparkling sugar for pretty. They'll happily keep on the counter for weeks, but once you have one, I doubt keeping them for weeks will be a problem.

If I have some singles hanging around, I'm happy to sell them for 50 cents each.

If you want a full batch (about 24 cookies), I'll give a price break and sell the wheat version for $9 for a full batch and the gluten free for $10.

Each is about 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" long, though there is some variation (some longer, some shorter).

I can also customize the recipe if you have a particular flavor in mind. The traditional Italian version has a little anise and fennel seed, or I can add some combo of dried fruits and/or nuts. Let me know what you're thinking and let's talk options.

Gluten Free Really Good M and M Cookies

Sometimes you want gourmet, sometimes you want simple (but still great-tasting). Whether you’re gluten free or not, now you can enjoy the simple homemade flavor of a really good M and M cookie.

Just like the wheat version, these are soft and chewy, sweet and buttery, with just a little bit of extra salt to make you want more than one at a time!

If you don’t want the whole batch all at one time, these will freeze well. Pop one or more out of the freezer and let them thaw for about 30 minutes and you’re on your way to a really good cookie!

$22 for a batch of 16 cookies. Each is about 2 oz in weight.

Sweet potato slips for sale.
I have a bunch of sweet potato slips for sale, from potatoes out of last year's garden.
I sell large slips for $2 each, smaller sections for $1.
I have ...
--Georgia Jet (regular old orange sweet potato, great flavor, good grower making large potatoes)
--White (don't let the color fool you, these are indeed sweet potatoes, they make medium to large roots, and are great for adding the flavor of sweet potato to things without the color)
--Purple (similar to white, don't let the color fool you, these are sweet potatoes, but they're a deep purple color, run for kids)
All the slips will come in water. Bring a jar or glass and we'll fix you up. Take them home, put them somewhere sunny and they'll root.
If you would like me to pot them up for you in soil, I'm happy to, but those will be a little extra money due to the extra work and time.

Summer Berry Pie
Now that some good berries are starting to appear in the stores, it's time to celebrate the return of Spring and Summer.
I can't think of a better way than my 9" Summer Berry Pie.
I start off with a homemade graham cracker crust. If you're gluten free, I can make this pie gluten free by using gluten free graham crackers. As a matter of fact, the pie in the picture is gluten free.
I use three different berries in the pie: blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Some of them I leave whole, some I puree and cook gently to make a soft base underneath the whole fruits.
Before topping, I toss the berries with some melted preserves to give them a little extra sweetness and a beautiful gloss.
I have some disposable 9" pans, but I am happy to make this pie in your pie pans as long as they're oven safe.
I can also adjust the ratios of berries and/or omit some if you prefer one type more than another.
$27 for the whole pie which will comfortably feed 7 - 8 adults, especially if you serve it with some billows of whipped cream on top.
If you want gluten free, the grahams are a little more expensive so there is a $6 up charge.

Sometimes you want gourmet, sometimes you want simple (but still great-tasting). There’s nothing elaborate or fancy about my M and M cookies, just simple good homemade flavor.
