Alright it’s not exactly groundbreaking to put ground beef in queso, but man it feels like it is when it tastes this good 🤤

We cook ground beef in the same New Mexico red chile sauce from our Taco of the Month, The Truth or Consequences so it gets blanketed in the rich earthy flavors from the chile before tossing it in with our velvety queso blanco 🌶️🫕 The regular queso is pretty close to perfection as is, but this just takes it to another level. Yee to the haw, partner 🤠

There’s only 5 days left to dig in on this dip. Giddyup on over here before it’s gone! Open til 9p tonight in Botanical Heights, Kirkwood, and UCity.

We had a great time spending this beautiful day celebrating with the WashU Class of 2026 during their Commencement Day! Thank you Washington University in St. Louis for letting us get in on the fun and sling some tacos 🌮

With our UCity location’s close proximity to campus, we get the enormous privilege of not only serving lots WashU students, but working with them too. We’ll miss the Buddha Bears as they move on to the next chapter in their lives, but we’re grateful for the good times you’ve shared with us and we can’t wait to see the big things you’ll accomplish. Congratulations Class of 2026 🎉🎉🎉

Everybody help us wish the happiest of birthdays to Kirkwood’s smiliest manager, Tamara 🥳🎂🎉

Tam has been with us since 2023 and has kept us laughing ever since thanks to her wicked sense of humor and cheery demeanor. If you’ve ever dined at Kirkwood, chances are you’ve heard her laugh echoing through the restaurant. She’s the kind of person that always brightens up the room, and it’s not all because of what she has to say–it’s the way she listens. She always makes the time for others, she leads with empathy, and you just know she genuinely gives a hoot. She’s a damn good friend, and we’re lucky to have her on our team.

Happy birthday, Tam!!

New road who dis?

These two pictures were taken 30 minutes apart from each other. 10:15am this morning, we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to open for lunch at our UCity location due to road construction and road closures and all sorts of fun stuff, but hat’s off to this crew 👷‍♂️ They locked in and paved a brand-spankin’ new road lickety-split like and allowed us to open right on time with a snazzy new section of Pershing Ave to boot ✅

We are OPEN in UCity, but please be aware that Pershing Ave at Forest Park Parkway (westbound) is closed for the time being while they continue to work. You can still access Pershing from Hanley, or take Jackson Ave from Forsyth or Delmar to get here.

It’s so crazy that Mothers’ Day and Take Your Mom to Taco Buddha Brunch Day fall on the same day 🤯

We wouldn’t say we’re particularly jazzed that there’s road construction happening right outside of our UCity location on a Friday afternoon, but that’s life. Nothing a taco and a marg can’t fix 🌮🍹

Don’t be fooled by the roads (or lack of them), we are OPEN in UCity. Parking might be a bit trickier than usual, but totally worth it for taco time. Come see us until 9p tonight!
