Contemplation: “People often overestimate what they can get done in a year but underestimate what they can get done in a decade.”
-various sources named as orgin of quote but I most recently heard this said similarly on the Diary of a CEO podcast and made note of it.

The power of small daily decisions makes enormous impact long term ❤️

Also, it’s my Dad’s Birthday! I love when this picture of him holding Graham comes up in my feed on Feb 11.

Solos is a cut-off valley town where people have long relied on healer Miriam Halloway for their wellbeing and trusted the elders to keep peace with the neighboring town, Unire.

When an unusual illness sweeps through the town, victims experience fevers and night terrors in the form of crows feeding on fear, waking with very real physical wounds and a quickly spreading illness.

When Miriam begins showing symptoms of the disease and the crows descend upon her, she retreats to her forest cabin to experiment on herself, desperate for a cure.

Back in Solos, her sixteen-year-old daughter, Eve, is left to run an overflowing clinic, torn between her inherited gift of hearing people’s pain and a dangerous hunger to know more than she can safely hold.

As fear fractures the town and neighbors turn on one another, Unire pressures Solos to join forces in order to survive.

Eve stands at a crossroads- pulled between surrendering to the quiet voice that heals or opening herself to the dark knowledge that threatens to break her.

Through Miriam’s self-experiments, the truth emerges: stories take hold of the body, and the battle for survival is fought inside the mind itself.

As the Holloway girls awaken the family gift to hear what others cannot, the question becomes not simply how to stop the illness, but how to reclaim one’s own perception and inner world before fear rewrites it.

This sample is a glimpse of Miriam’s Daughter Iris, who has grown up in Unire but reveals her Solos roots in this scene with Titus.

Preorders of Solos are available in our online shop.

This short clip is a sample of what an induction might sound like in one of my sessions.

Rather than the traditional “walk down a staircase” approach, I use a story-based, sensory immersion method—what I call story hypnosis.
It invites the body and imagination to move together.

You might notice how this one begins with the feeling of an ice cube between your fingers—texture, temperature, weight—and then, as it melts, your body begins to mirror that softening. It’s a full-body experience rather than a mental exercise.

If you’re curious to experience this for yourself, you can book a private session or join one of our Soma + Sound immersions to explore what can happen when you experience “mind awake- body asleep”. The POWER of story awaits…

🍂🥞October Tea Circle: Pancake Breakfast

This month, we’ll gather in the morning for something a little different: a cozy autumn breakfast together.

Maple pumpkin pancakes, steaming cups of harvest tea, and the soft glow of October light.

As we share food and warmth, I’ll guide us through a hypnosis meditation — wandering slowly through an autumn morning fog, watching as it lifts into clarity. A gentle practice for this turning season.

Date: October 18
Time: 10:00 am

Let’s chat about dreams.

In the story that I am writing, fear takes center stage with a mysterious illness that is spreading through the town of Solos.

Lately I have been interacting with my fear landscape at night- through remembering and working with my dreams. It always fascinates me to see the themes rise up to the surface when I do.

What do the dreams you remember show you about your fears? What forms do they take?

I’ll pop in the comments in a bit and share one that I’ve been having lately.
