Just past the corner at Delmar and Skinker — in the heart of the Delmar Loop — you can find our flagship café in the same spot we've treasured since we opened our doors as Blueprint Coffee for the first time in 2013.

The Loop has a long and vibrant history. In a neighborhood with so much life, the only constant thing about it is its continual evolution. Over the last 13 years, we've watched from our café windows as so many businesses have moved in, made their mark on the Loop, grown and changed, and sometimes closed their doors. Students graduate and move away; children grow up; new dogs come to visit us all the time. We love being part of the rhythm of your lives, and of this neighborhood we call home.

Our space has evolved, too. For the first decade of business, we roasted and packaged all our coffee right in the back of this café. In 2020, we spent a while handing coffees off through the front door, then slowly welcomed customers back inside, a few at a time. When we were ready to open our doors to the public again, the footprint of our roasting, packing, and shipping operation had grown so much that we hardly had any café seats left. Then, two years ago we moved our roaster to our new headquarters on 39th Street — and since then we've had more floor space in the café than ever before. Today, Abby and her incredible team are so excited to serve you each time you walk through the door.

As our Delmar café continues to grow and evolve, we want to hear from you: What's working at Delmar? What do you need from us? How can we best serve you in this space we love so dearly?

After a winter hiatus, we're excited to share that Linear Oat Latte is back in stock!

This classic drink is made simply with cold-brewed Penrose, Oatly oat milk, and just a touch of sweetness. When you can't make it in to one of our coffee bars, a can of Oat Latte is the next best thing.

Keep a few in your office fridge; throw a can in your lunch bag; enjoy a pick-me-up between classes and meetings and errands; sip a can on the way to camp drop-off; take it on a hike or bike ride; be the hero of the float trip... Linear Oat Latte is ready to go with you wherever you want to take it, all summer long. (Just make sure to keep it cold!)

Pick up a can or a 4-pack at any of our cafés — or find it at one of the cafés, restaurants, groceries, markets, and bodegas that carry Linear, in St. Louis and beyond. You can find a list of Linear stockists on our blog.

Our shakers are ready...it's POOLSIDE SEASON ☀️😎🧉💦⛱️

Starting today, Poolside Cold Brew is available at all three cafés. And yes, Corey — so is Poolside Soda!

So many of you wait for Poolside Season all year long, and for good reason. These beverages are like drinking summer in a cup.

To make every Poolside Cold Brew, we shake Linear cold brew, house-made coconut syrup, and your choice of milk over ice. Then we strain it over fresh ice, hand it to you, and watch you smile 😁

Poolside Soda is a house-made coconut citrus soda, sparkling water, and a scoop of ice, topped with your choice of milk. If you've tasted it, you know how good it is. If you haven't, we can't wait to make you one. 🥥🍋🍊

Our newest coffee is bright, tangy, and earthy-sweet: Gichathaini, Kenya. The lovely floral aroma gives way to notes of baked pineapple and cherry, followed by a rich, lingering molasses finish. We were delighted to share this coffee at (and we're pleased to report it got rave reviews all weekend!).

Gichathaini (pronounced "gee-cha-thai-knee") Factory is one of three washing stations owned and operated by the Gikanda Farmer’s Cooperative Society. The co-op model, common in Kenya, means that Gichathaini is owned by the farmers it serves. They manage the factory and choose representatives through a democratic process — a vital exercise of self-determination. Well-managed cooperatives like Gikanda allow smallholders to pool their resources, process their harvests at co-op-owned factories, and connect to global specialty coffee markets — ultimately earning higher prices for their coffees.

Most members cultivate coffee in small gardens of, on average, less than a single hectare. Farmers pick ripe coffee cherries by hand and deliver them to the factory. At intake, the Cherry Clerk oversees a meticulous sorting process, accepting only the dense, ripe cherries.

Factory workers pulp the cherries the same day that farmers deliver them. They ferment the cherries overnight, then wash the seeds clean in fresh water from the Ragati River that flows nearby. Finally, they spread the seeds on beds to dry, frequently raking them and carefully covering them at night and in the heat of the day to ensure slow, even drying.

Find Gichathaini now on our retail shelves and online.

In our latest blog post, our longtime class instructor and barista Valerie breaks down the elements of a brew recipe — and how each variable affects extraction (read: flavor!).

No matter how you're brewing coffee, every brew recipe includes a few essential elements: dose, grind size, yield, and time. On the blog, Val explains what each variable means, and how it can affect your brew. By understanding these variables, you can learn to manipulate extraction — and the flavors you experience in the cup.

A tektōn (pronounced TECK-tone) is an artisan or builder. Tektōn is our foundational filter blend — a coffee that presents balance as a quality that isn't boring. Supporting amounts of sweetness and acidity make Tektōn a solidly built staple. It's a classic crowd-pleaser, loved by a legion of longtime loyal Tektōn fans and newcomers alike. We often taste milk chocolate, sweet orange, and soft florals in this structured, medium-bodied cup.

Just as in our coffees, we seek balance between enduring business practices and support for our community. Each quarter, we donate $1 for every pound of Tektōn sold to a local charity. This Tektōn Giveback Program has become an incredibly meaningful ritual, fostering deeper connections and offering the financial support that helps our community thrive. We're proud to share that CASA of St. Louis is our Tektōn Giveback partner for the first quarter of 2026.

CASAs are Court Appointed Special Advocates for children. These volunteers advocate for children who are in the family court system due to abuse or neglect. Each CASA gets to know the child or children they represent, visiting them at foster homes and attending court hearings, in order to advocate for the child's best interests. Often, a CASA is the only constant in the life of a child who is separated from family and shuttling between foster homes and family court. CASAs offer stability and support, giving children a voice when they need it most. CASAs work with attorneys and judges, providing information and recommendations to help courts make the best decisions about a child's future. Learn more, and join CASA as a volunteer, at stlcasa.org.

We give back to our community through our Tektōn Giveback program. Each quarter, we donate $1 for every pound of Tektōn sold to a local charity. Read more at blueprintcoffee.com/blends.

Shoutout to all the Drupe fans out there — today we're putting the spotlight on you! 🔦

Drupe (pronounced DROOP) is the botanical name for stonefruit. Fun fact: coffee itself is a drupe! What we think of as "coffee beans" are actually the seeds of a fleshy fruit — the coffee cherry. Naturally processed coffee is dried with the seeds still inside that cherry; this process tends to bring a deep, fermented fruit quality to the cup.

When we crafted this rich, fruity blend of our dreams, we knew Drupe was the perfect name for it. All of our blends are made with three main components: Natural, Balanced, and Bright*. In Drupe, the Natural component is prominent, with Balanced and Bright singing in harmony. Together, they bring juicy cherry, soft plum, and luscious red wine to each sip. Drupe is made to shine just as well as espresso, filter brew, or in a French Press.

There's a reason so many of our subscribers and wholesale partners brew Drupe full-time. It's simply delicious. And, like all our blends, Drupe is available year-round — making it a perfect go-to for any home kitchen or coffee bar. Find Drupe now and forever on our retail shelves and online.

We opened our High Low café — our third coffee bar, operated in partnership with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation — the day after Thanksgiving in 2019. A few months later, the pandemic hit.

For a while, we honestly weren't sure about the longevity of the space. We slowly adapted to the realities of serving coffee safely during an ongoing pandemic — but with the vibrant arts scene in the neighborhood suddenly paused, and schools and workplaces operating virtually, we struggled to find our footing. For a time, people simply weren't out and about in the neighborhood. It was giving our director of retail more than a few (metaphorical!) gray hairs.

But we stuck it out. And in the last year and a half, High Low has exploded with life. Thanks to what Sylvia and her team are building there, our youngest café is thriving. Every day, High Low is filled with the chatter and keyboards of students, writers, and artists working hard. When it's not hosting events for artists, poets, and more, the Listening Room in the back serves as additional seating for café guests. And the space has been a vital community hub in the heart of the Grand Center Arts District.

We're so glad that so many of you have come to see the same potential in this space that we did all those years ago. It's thanks to all of you who have made High Low a part of your daily routines, and special occasions, that we are proudly here to stay.
