Happy international women’s day! Today I’m honoring one of the most influential women in my life and launching our dark roast for preorders! Our dark roast is named after my sister because she has always been a constant support in all the dark moments. She has been an essential part of my up bringing, has been my best friend, and will always be one of the first people I turn to when things get dark but also the first person I want to celebrate with when we find the light out of the dark. In the spirit of thanksgiving, we are VERY thankful for another important person on our team, Charles Deval Lewis aka “Dee”. He is the inspiration and the reason Redeemed Coffee exists.

“My dad battled an alcohol addiction most of my life and sadly lost his battle in 2017. My dad is so much more than his addiction. He was an amazing father who loved us fiercely. He was a huge cowboys fan and today especially was one of his favorite days of the year for cowboys football. He was a goofball and loyal friend. He was a clean freak. He always wanted better for us. He also loved coffee and anything sweet! He is my biggest inspiration and the reason I’m so passionate about supporting organizations who are researching addiction and breaking the stigma. I am so thankful today especially this year for my dads constant support and yours as well.” -Michaela 💙
