Available this week at the market, our signature Gooey Almond Breakfast cake. It’s so much more than your traditional coffee cake, and it quickly becoming a top requested item.

After visiting us at the market stop by the Petco at 21348 Kuykendahl Rd between 1 pm - 5 pm to support AARF Houston. Even if you’re not looking to adopt they could use your financial support of a few dollars, or maybe purchase a few bags of dog food for the fosters… and tell them Bad Donkey sent you! Remember, a portion of all of our sales goes back to support this great organization who is rescuing the homeless and unwanted dogs from our local streets.

Available this weekend at the market, our most popular single flavor item, Cake-not-Cake. This is become a highly requested item at the market so now we make sure to carry it every week. If you’ve never tried it, it’s like the inside of a chocolate truffle candy, but in cake form. It’s chocolate, gluten-free and delicious.

Do you know how it got its name? It’s been a very popular item with us for a long time, and it used to be called something different but was entered into a competition and the judges, which included Food Network people, told us we didn’t give them cake so we did not win… although we won people’s choice award for best item. We couldn’t figure out what to call it and everyone kept asking for the cake that was not cake so the name evolved into what it is today, Cake-not-Cake. Now you know. 🥰

Make sure to come try a slice available this Saturday, just look for it in our refrigerated display case.
