Today is Orange Shirt Day. 🧡

We wear orange to honor residential and boarding school survivors, remember the children who never made it home, and recognize the lasting impact these institutions continue to have on Native families and communities.

On Native American Day, we’re thinking about the many ways our communities care for one another. Sometimes it’s a meal shared around a table. Sometimes it’s making room for someone’s story.

At Indigenous Eats, food is one way we share a little of who we are. Today, we’re grateful for the people who keep Native traditions, creativity, and community going every day. ❤️

Join us for Spokane’s 2026 Indigenous Peoples Day celebration! ❤️💛🤍🖤

This year’s theme, Following the Elders, reminds us to honor the knowledge, strength, and guidance of those who came before us while creating a healthier future for the generations still to come.

The day will include an Indigenous march, community feast and giveaway, Native food and art vendors, music, dancing, a fashion show, youth and family activities, and much more.

We’ll be here until at least 11 PM and may stay open as late as 1 AM — or until we sell out!

We’re returning to the Pendleton Round-Up—but we’re in a new location this year!

Find the Indigenous Eats food trailer at 911 SW Court Ave., in the BackFire Station parking lot near the grandstand.

We’ll be serving fresh, made-to-order frybread along with favorites such as the Hunter NdN taco, Powwow Burger with huckleberry relish, and Grandma's Spamwich! Look for us Wednesday through Saturday, beginning at noon. We’ll be open until at least 11 PM—and possibly as late as 1 AM or until sold out.

Four years. ❤️

Today marks 4 years of Indigenous Eats, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful.

What started as an idea to share good food, culture, and connection has grown into more than we could have imagined. Through every busy lunch, late night, catering order, powwow, road trip, new location, mistake, lesson, and celebration—you’ve been there.

To our customers, our team, our family, our Native community, and everyone who has supported us, shared a post, brought a friend, told someone about us, or simply came in hungry: thank you.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more grateful for the people who made the journey possible.

Four years down, and we’re still just getting started. ❤️

The Indigenous Eats trailer is set up at the Omak Stampede Indian Encampment all weekend, August 13–16!

Come find the big red trailer, grab some frybread, an Indian taco, or a cold huckleberry lemonade, and enjoy a great weekend of powwow, stickgame, and community.

Help support wildfire relief efforts when Native Trivia Night returns tomorrow at Indigenous Eats!

Guests who bring a donation will receive additional raffle tickets for the evening’s prize drawings. Every contribution helps support families and communities affected by the ongoing wildfires.

Gather your team and join us from 6:30–8:00 PM on Wednesday (August 12th) for Native trivia, music bonus questions, great food and prizes. We hope to see you there!
