Finished up the pulled pork after 9 1/2 hrs in the smoker. This pulled pork had one of the deepest smoke rings I've ever seen in pulled pork. The meat really absorbed the hickory smoke and had a deep hickory smoke flavor that made for excellent pulled pork sandwiches.

Doing a 9+ pound pork butt for pulled pork tonight! Using a homemade rub, hickory wood chunks mixed with Royal Oak charcoal. Smoking on a Stumps smoker at 275 degrees for approximately 9 hrs. I've had this smoker for 17 years! One of the best brands on the market.
