Hey Grant County and JDD Fam!
I rarely post personally but wanted to give everyone an update on myself, Erik and the future of JOHN DAY DELIVERY! Phase 1 of our Masterplan is complete and it’s time to transition to Phase 2. Erik and I started JDD to prove that regardless of your location, politics or economic status, creation of value can happen anywhere. With a goal of saving our local families time and money, we are excited to announce that JDD has now delivered over $1,000,000 in goods!! This translates to over $150,000 in savings for over 300 local families.. and that’s AFTER our delivery fee! We have grown from a Ford Focus and cell phone to having the most cutting edge tech in customer communication and order fulfillment. We did this with just two people, without Safeways permission, without startup capital, and was even attacked by local leaders for “taking money out of the community”. In fact, we did the exact opposite. If we added the time and gas/energy savings, this business has added over $500,000 in economic benefit to the county. With our new Electric platform and proven model, JOHN DAY DELIVERY is proud to step into our second phase. We are now looking for an experienced leader to take the helm as Erik and I focus on expansion and automation to give you access to goods quicker, easier and cheaper than ever before. Currently Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Fred Meyer all offer the same unrestricted order pickup as Safeway. This means no permission needed… We can literally flip a switch and Grant County will have access to next day delivery on goods not available without adding 300 miles on to your odometer. I have relocated to Breckenridge Colorado and have secured the capital for expansion. The only missing piece is you. We’re looking for a new executive (preferably local) that will help us onboard new stores, drivers and vehicles. Are you the person to take JDD to the next level?
