Years ago, it was James Ernest who posed the conundrum, now solved by Eric and his colleagues for 4- and 5-players: Can you create a set of dice for deciding who goes first - using a single roll? There must be no ties, and each player must have a completely fair and equal chance of rolling the high number.

And look at that sculpture! 🤩

It took nearly 15 years, researchers around the world and enough computing power to search through a universe of possibilities to answer one question: Who goes first?

Bad Assassin is a simple spy-shoots-spy game, where players issue commands to the spies on the board, collecting points for killing spies (or rushing them to safety). You can buy the Bad Assassin board and Spyland Deck separately from our friends at DriveThruCards, and then download the rules directly from us!
