Just to clear up a few rumors floating around town. There is absolutely no “beef” with the new owners. The liquor license being in Harrisburg is simply part of the normal transfer process and has nothing to do with why I closed.

The reality is that I was working under a lease arrangement that made it very difficult to actually turn a profit. Sometimes business decisions are just business decisions, even when they are not the fun kind.

I genuinely wish the new owners the very best in their new adventure and hope they do great things with the place. Running a business is not for the faint of heart, so anyone willing to take that leap deserves support, not gossip.

Now let us all return to our regularly scheduled small-town investigations. 🙂

Hey this is Sheila.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, Sunset Bar & Grill will be closing their doors indefinitely.
I would like to see everyone for one last drink and laugh, the bar will be open tomorrow 12/31 from 10am-3pm. Come share some memories and laughs.
Kitchen will be closed, cash bar only, drinks while supplies last.
