Had the privilege of taking the oven for a walk over the weekend! This time, Naperville.

It's always an honor when friends as us to sling pizzas for their backyard birthday party! And it's a blast to be able to fire up the Gozney and make new connections over good food and good times.

Didn't get as many pics this go around due to a variety of things but wanted to say thank you to our friends for the opportunity. Had a blast!

Every once in a while the ovens gotta get out and stretch its legs! And Saturday was one of those days.

We broke out the Gozney, set up Spcial Dough, and spent the afternoon slinging pizzas for some of our good friends! Cheese, sausage, pepperoni, and obviously the hot honey had to make an appearance.

It was a great opportunity to get back out there making pizzas and doing it our way!

We're still in the waiting game figuring out what this all looks like for G-**ot Pizza. Trying to sort through opportunities to figure out what works best for us and for you!

In the meantime, stay close! Big things coming and we hope to see you soon!

And while we're not officially taking orders, if you have a bunch of hungry people getting together sometime...

I know a guy that makes hot, fresh, pizza on the spot!

Thanks again to our friends for giving us the opportunity 🙏

What up G-**ot Fam!

It's been a while since my last post so I wanted to touch base.

A week or so ago I had the chance to dust off the Gozney and make pizzas for a friend's private birthday party. Nothing crazy, just good people, cold drinks, and a whole lot of pizza.

Man... I forgot how much I missed it!

There's just something about stretching dough, firing pizzas one after another, and watching people grab that first slice that reminds me exactly why I started this whole thing.

On the business side, we're still grinding. The LLC, tax registration, ServSafe, DBA... all the boring stuff is finally behind us. Right now we're just trying to find the right place to call home so we can get G-**ot Pizza back up and running the right way. We've been in talks with some local spots, but still trying to find the spot that makes the most sense for all parties involved!

The goal hasn't changed from day one...
Make damn good pizza that families can actually afford. I've said it before and I'll say it again, pizza night should never break the bank!

When the right opportunity comes along, we'll be ready.

Until then, here's a few pictures from the weekend to hold everyone over. Changed it up to neapolitan so fit the gozney oven!

As always, thank you to everyone who's stuck with us, shared our posts, checked in, or simply asked, "When's G-**ot coming back?"

Trust me... We're working on it.

The comeback is gonna be greater than the setback!

Good evening G-**ot Pizza fam!

I haven't posted in a while so figured we'd pop on here and give a subtle update.

Nothing has necessarily changed since the last update. We are in talks with a local owner to turn a spot into a kitchen that works for us in doing things the right way. Have other options popped up? Have we explored a variety of ways to be operational right now? Yes.

But right now none of those other options totally make sense for us in this moment. (Minus your backyard pizza party experience)

In the meantime, we are still testing recipes and trying to improve our pizza little by little each day.

Tonight's dinner: Taco Pizza!

Seasoned ground beef, salsa, cheddar mozz mix. Post bake topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, seasoned sour cream, black olives, and crushed tortilla Chips!

I don't know if this one will ever make the menu , but it certainly didn't last long here.

Stay tuned for more updates as we should know more here in the coming weeks!

Thanks for the continued support.

Sincerely,

Your G-**ot Pizza Family

Checking out the Neapolitan Pizza life while we're still in limbo. Gotta get a little practice in before we start doing events. And this is the way to do it. Light, airy Pizza with every bit of the flavor!

Start to finish each pizza probably took 3-6 mins! With room to improve.

Pizzas pictured:
- Classic Margherita
- Sausage, Green Pepper
- Pepperoni, Jalapeños, Pineapple, Hot Honey

Let us know when you're in for a backyard pizza party of your own!

And be on the lookout for us popping up around the area!

Good evening G-**ot Fam!

Wanted to provide an update and a bit of insight as to where we are for those paying attention. We are still currently between spots but I want to give a shoutout to everyone that's reached out and pushed us in a direction! The support isn't lost on me as we continue to try to build this the right way.

In the meantime we may be pivoting to pop ups, private events, vendor fairs, and farmers markets. We've reached out to a local spot that's offered to allow us to use their place as a commissary kitchen for prep and storage so that we can get up and running. They've also offered to let us potentially sling pizza from their spot! But for the time being we are doing what we think is best and trying to get back up and rolling.

So while nothing is finalized, be on the lookout for G-**ot pizza poppin up. You might also see "Social Dough" in around! Which is our more intimate private pizza experience!

Nonetheless if you're in the market for a private pizza party, or special event, think of us!

Thank you for the continued support!

Hopefully some good news today for your family here at G-**ot Pizza.

One of our potential locations has a meeting today to see if it's feasible. Hoping for good news.

If it doesn't we may have to pivot again for the time being! Stay tuned.

Good evening G-**ot Fam!

I wanted to give an update for you all as we all continue to exercise patience for everything going on.

Here is where we currently stand. We have a couple leads of options to, at the very least, get us back up and making pizzas.

Option 1 is to try to operate as a preorder/drop model out of a commissary kitchen in Yorkville. This has its pros and cons but the biggest draw back is not cooking in an actual pizza oven and having to find various drop locations for it to work.

Option 2 is to operate out of a spot in Plano. This one is promising. But truthfully, I am trying to stay closer to home and closer to the G-**ot faithful that helped me launch, learn, and grow here in town.

Option 3 (personal fav and the one i hope works out): Fit out a spot in Sandwich to do exactly what we are trying to do exactly the way we are trying to do it! This one is very promising but I don't want to speak too much on it because there is a lot of work that needs to be done behind the scenes. And the last time I jumped the gun on details, things didn't pan out lol 😆

Option 4: Private events/pop ups/vendor fairs etc. This one is tricky. Requires a commissary and would more than likely require cooking a different style of pizza other than the one we normally sling. But would open us up to the possibility of doing all of your summer backyard parties!

All of these options have their own hurdles. All of these options have pros and cons. And to be honest, we may have to do a combination of these things to get us back up and going.

But the important thing for us now is finding the path that will help us keep overhead low so that we can all enjoy great pizza at a great price. I've said it many times, I'm not necessarily in this thing to make a ton of money. I'm just a guy that loves making pizza. I'm also a guy that wants the average family to be able to enjoy pizza night without breaking the bank!

So that's where we are right now. And while we wait, we are just here at home, expirementing and fine tuning the craft!

Thank you for the continued support and patience!

Sincerely,
The G-**ot Pizza Family
