Thee hath sipped coffee a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My tummy tosses at it. Here hung that handle that I have held I know not how oft. —Where be your coffee stained residue now? Your chipped rim? Your funny slogan? Your flashes of merriment that were wont to scold my lips with thy hot temper? Not one now to question your own usefulness? Quite broken you are? Now get you to my lady’s kitchen and tell her, let her use super glue an inch thick, to this favor she must come. Make her laugh at that.

This morning I am enjoying a light roast of our Guatemalan. I like it because of its almost sweet flavor with no bitter aftertaste. Just a good coffee. I had opened up the bag fresh this morning and ill admit I can sometimes be a bit lazy about proper storage and just keep it in the bag. After a great cup and knowing I wanted to save the flavor, I got out a dark airtight container that I use. It really makes a difference. Read this article on storage of your coffee and how to keep it at it's freshest.

Ahhhh a new year and a time to look forward to all that 2018 can be. One of my goals is to find a better balance for my overall health this year. So don't be surprised if you see a few post about keeping yourself in tune. (especially where coffee is involved!) A study done by the National Institute of Health found that those who drink four or more cups of coffee daily were 10% less likely to be depressed than those who don’t drink coffee. Soo..... that being said.... buy our coffee, drink it, and be happy!
