We would like to introduce you to our label. It is a confluence of our family story with our newly found love and appreciation for coffee. Our logo mirrors Mount Mayon, the world's most perfect cone volcano. The best coffees are cultivated in volcanic soil. Mt Mayon's elegant in its simplicity, while hiding enormous strength. It also points to where we came from.
M = represents Macalling & Manansala
A = is a cone (like the logo) that has a 92⁰ angle. Geng & Bobynx met in '92. 92⁰C is the ideal water temperature to brew coffee.
Y = two branches, two individuals (Geng & Bobynx) form a 93⁰ angle, 93⁰C is also an ideal water temperature for coffee. While the stem represents our union in marriage in '93.
O = is an oblong shape, like an egg (or a coffee bean), that represents our off-spring, Mika, at the start of the new millennium
N = is a vertical representation of the ups and downs of life. We were drawn to coffee as a result of a devastating life event, but since then we are trending upwards.
The colors represent the cross section of an espresso with crema on top over black body.
