"But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”-Joshua 24:15

That kind of declaration does not come from a man who is passive about his faith. It comes from a man who has decided. Who has planted his feet. Who understands that the direction of his household is not an accident, it is a choice made daily, in the small moments and the big ones.

To the fathers in our churches across Texas: your family is watching how you lead. They are watching whether you open the Word. Whether you pray over the table. Whether you walk through the doors of the church and mean it. Whether your faith is something you carry into Monday morning or leave at Sunday's door.

You do not have to be perfect. Joshua's generation had wandered too. But he chose, and he led, and his house followed.

That is the call on your life, Dad.

Happy Father's Day to every father in the LCMC Texas District who is standing up and leading his family toward Christ everyday. Your faithfulness today is shaping the generations to come.
