Behind the Dining Room Doors: The Real Life of a Restaurant Owner takes readers beyond the dining room and into the side of the restaurant business customers rarely get to see—the staffing challenges, financial pressure, equipment failures, long nights, difficult decisions, incredible people, community connections, and unforgettable moments that make restaurant ownership unlike anything else.
This isn't a restaurant manual, and it isn't a “look at me” memoir. It is an honest look at what it feels like to build a restaurant, carry the responsibility that comes with it, watch employees and customers become part of its story, and eventually learn that a strong business shouldn't require its owner to carry everything alone.
