And just like that, we are back again.

We have just returned home after my dad’s funeral services, and we are slowly beginning to work again. But I will not pretend that we are operating at full capacity. After losing both my mom and dad in less than a month, I am simply not at full capacity—and that is our reality right now.

For the moment, we are focusing on completing the orders that were already scheduled. We do not have availability for new orders this weekend.

As a small business, we need to continue working, but we also need your patience and understanding. If you called or messaged me and did not receive a response, I will begin catching up next week. Please place your inquires with enough time and allow us a little extra time to respond.

Our specialty coffee and artisan cookies are still available. We are now accepting those orders through an order form, and an invoice will be sent directly to you. I will share all the details next week.

Thank you for your continued support, your patience, and the kindness you have shown my family. We are moving forward—slowly, honestly, and one day at a time. 🤍

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has checked on me and sent messages of condolence after my mom’s passing. Your kindness has meant so much to me.

I’m back home and back to work. I’ve reorganized my schedule for all active orders, and I believe I’ve answered every message. If you’re still waiting to hear from me, please reach out again. I know I need to make some invoices and send some invoice reminders… I’ll send them today. I promise!!

Creating has always been a kind of therapy for me. Mami loved seeing what I made, and knowing that two of my biggest fans are now watching over me makes each order feel even more special. I’ll make your cakes and treats with the same love I always have, and I hope they’ll enjoy seeing them from heaven, too.

We’re coming back. 🤍

Over the past few months, I stepped away from the business to be with my family—even spending much of that time out of state. Since losing my mom, I haven’t yet returned home.

But on Tuesday, September 29, I’ll be back and ready to slowly begin again: completing the orders already on our calendar and accepting new orders.

This season has reminded me that behind every small business is a real person navigating life while doing everything possible to keep a dream alive.

As we begin this new chapter, your support means more than you know. Every order, recommendation, share, and kind word helps us continue doing what we love.

My mom passed away this past Friday. Even through the heartbreak, I found the strength to complete the orders I had committed to. Here some of the orders.

I will now be out of state and away from work for at least the remainder of this month.

All confirmed orders for October and November will be fulfilled, and I will do my best to respond to inquiries for October and the rest of the year.

I haven’t been promoting my business or staying as active on social media lately because my family and I are going through a very difficult time. My mother’s health is very delicate, and I need to spend time out of state with my family in Puerto Rico.

All confirmed orders will be completed as promised. However, I won’t be accepting any additional orders at this time. The orders already on my schedule are the ones I know I can fulfill with the responsibility and quality each client deserves.

Some clients have even changed their event dates to accommodate the days Im here in Florida working. That means more to me than I can express.

Yes, I need to work—but my family in Puerto Rico also needs me right now.

A beautiful custom cake begins long before the decorating starts. It begins with a clear process.

When I chose to specialize in custom orders, I knew every client deserved my full attention—but also that every order needed to follow the same process. It protects both of us and ensures that every detail is handled responsibly.

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit Montes9230.com and submit your inquiry with as much information as possible.
2. I’ll review the details and send you a quote.
3. Once you approve it, you’ll receive an invoice by email.
4. Your date is officially reserved when the 50% deposit is paid.

A quote does not reserve your date. There is no confirmed order without a deposit.

Payments are processed securely through your invoice. We do not accept Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, or other direct transfers for custom orders. Cash payments can be arranged in person.

This process is personal—not automated—because I want every detail documented, accessible, and handled with care.

It was never “just cake.”

Some people see me making cake batter.
I see the beginning of something someone will remember forever.

To many, it may look like just another cake or another batch of cookies. But to me, it is so much more.

For some reason, these families trusted me to be present for one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

They may be celebrating after a battle no one knew about. A graduation earned through years of long nights. The beginning of a new family. A little one’s very first birthday.

And I get to be there—bringing the cake they imagined for that moment to life.
