Training Tip Tuesday

One of the best training tips I can give is this: stop while you’re ahead.

When things are going well, we often get greedy and want just one more repetition or one more success. Unfortunately, that’s often when it comes back to bite us.

Ending on a high note builds momentum, cooperation, confidence, and eagerness for the next session. Pushing for too much can create frustration, mistrust, and noncompliance—undoing the progress you just made.

So the next time your dog reaches a new goal or has a breakthrough, celebrate it! Jackpot that success, end the session, and leave them wanting more.

Remember, the goal isn’t to see how long you can train—it’s to make your dog excited for the next training session.

🐾 Training Tip Tuesday 🦴

Did you know chewing is one of the most natural behaviors for dogs? It’s more than just a tasty treat!

✅ Helps clean teeth and reduce plaque
✅ Keeps their brain busy and fights boredom
✅ Relieves stress and anxiety
✅ Gives them a healthy outlet for their natural instincts

A dog with an appropriate natural chew is often a happier, more content dog (and your shoes will thank you! 😉).

If you’re looking for wholesome, natural chews your pup will love, send me a message. I’d be happy to help you find the perfect one! 🐶❤️
