Today I have been busy making lavender BBQ sauce and Baby back ribs, quarter chickens, and Whoopie pies and it's only 7:45. The customers at the Lavender fest at Symmit Wynds love us using the farms fresh lavender to make delicious food combinations. We sold out yesterday.

The weekend has officially begun at Symmit Wynds. We're thrilled about the beautiful weather and our busy schedule. Don't miss our lavender specials while visiting our food trailer the hours are:
Friday 3pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. Meanwhile, our catering team will be in Hubbardston on Friday and in Holden, Rutland, Gardner, and Townsend on Saturday for private events.

Slow-Cooker Honey Rhubarb Glazed Meatballs

Sweet and Tangy Rhubarb-Infused Meatballs Simmered to Perfection

Ingredients:

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chopped rhubarb stalks
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon cold water (optional for thickening)

Happy Friday everyone! Today Friday the 11th from 4 till 8:30 we will be serving up some great BBQ at Pine Acres we hope to see you there!
And on Saturday we will be at The Brimfield Winery serving from 3 till not sure yet but at least till 9pm. Brimfield is celebrating the 250th with a parade, reenactment, live music and fireworks a day for the whole family to enjoy. We hope to see you there.

This Saturday folks, weather looks great. Full day of events honoring America's 250th

Brimfield's celebration planning began 10 months ago by a group of residents that agreed there is no way our town is letting the 250th go by without a massive celebration. So we did something about it. Come see this Saturday. Pancake breakfast! Historical cemetery tours (reservations now full). Fife & Drum band and face painters will be on the town common at 1pm with Parade & Ceremony beginning at 2pm. Then around 4pm at Brimfield Winery we have Saint Christopher's Chicken BBQ, live music, living history demonstrations (aka reenactors with muskets and more), patriotic art display (TRHS and Brimfield Elementary). And so much more.

We are now partnered with the Town of Holland and the Wales Public Library because America's 250th doesn't know town lines. So if you're from those towns, celebrate with us.

This is all possible through 100% donations from families and local businesses. And about 13 of the most selfless volunteers' hardwork.
