Allow me to introduce the newest member of the Ms. Pinkie’s Dream Team! 💕🎂👋🏾

And baby girl GOT HER WAVE ON today! 😂

After an oven mishap involving actual FIRE 🔥, rain that nearly doubled an already-long commute 🌧️🚙, and a day that generally seemed determined to test me… Ms. Pinkie’s still made it to the market.

And SHE went to work. 😏💕

Before the day was over, customers were walking through asking, “Where’s the pound cake lady?” and other vendors were asking me, “Where did you get that flag?!” 😂🙌🏾

Every day you have to find a way to turn problems into PURCHASES. 💕🎂

Welcome to the Dream Team, baby girl. You understood the assignment! 😂👋🏾💕

🌸🎂 ONE LAST MARKET DAY! 🎂🌸

This Saturday is the final Market Day of the season at The Grove at The Village at Allen, and I couldn’t let it end without saying THANK YOU! 💕

To everyone who stopped by, sampled, purchased, came back for more, shared a post or told a friend about Ms. Pinkie’s Pound Cakes — I appreciate every bit of the love and support you’ve shown my little Made From Scratch business. 🥰

Come see Ms. Pinkie one more time this Saturday! I’ll have your favorites ready… and you know the rule:

When they’re GONE, they’re GONE! 👀😂🎂

🌸 Sometimes life changes the plan… 💕

I missed you all at Market today, and honestly, that one hurt. I work hard building Ms. Pinkie’s Pound Cakes one cake, one customer, and one weekend at a time. An unexpected situation took me off track this morning, and after handling what needed to be handled, I had to catch my breath…and maybe shed a little tear. 🥹

Then, right when I needed it, I received an unexpected call from someone I tremendously respect—simply checking on me. She had no idea how much that small act of kindness meant today.

It reminded me: one difficult day doesn’t erase your progress. A setback is just a setback—not the end of the journey.

So today, I reset. Tomorrow, I keep building. 💕 Next weekend, Ms. Pinkie’s Pound Cakes will be at a church event, and if it’s open to the public, I’ll certainly invite you all to come see me! 🙌🏾🎂

If today didn’t go according to your plan either, catch your breath, regroup…and keep going. 💕

🌸 MARKET DAY UPDATE 💕

Unfortunately, Ms. Pinkie’s Pound Cakes will not be able to attend The Grove at The Village at Allen market today.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who was planning to stop by and see us, and I truly appreciate your continued support and understanding. 💕

We’ll miss seeing our Pound Cake Besties today, but Ms. Pinkie will be back! 🎂💕

Thank you so much for supporting my small business. Every order, share, recommendation, and visit means more to me than you know. 🥰

See you at the next Market Day! 💕🍰
