We are proud to source as many local ingredients and services as possible in our foods and desserts to honor the tradition of supporting local farmers and specialty product and service vendors! Jonathan’s maternal grandmother, Hazel is the inspiration for JonJohn’s delicious creations. She was a strong woman of faith, compassion and stability who believed that no matter what happened in a family’s life, good cooking would make things seem better. That conviction is not only reflected in our products, but also in our relationship with our customers. We hope every purchase will be special to our patrons, and we only use the freshest and lcoal ingredients as part of our philosophy. Since founding the business, JonJohn’s has been twice awarded the Rochester Epilepsy Foundation’s “People’s Choice” Award, and the Food link Festival of Food “Best Taste” award for their confections. Long a favorite stop at the Rochester Public Market (2000 - 2010, and seasonal special events - 2020), As JonJohn's joined fellow small businesses navigating through the devastating Covid-19 pandemic this last year, JonJohn's is now available to order direct for curbside pick-up, local delivery and shipping options! The Supreme Court has already decided that living in the community is a legal right.

More than 25 years ago, the Supreme Court’s Olmstead decision affirmed that people with disabilities have the right to live in their communities and not be forced into institutions.

That ruling changed millions of lives. But a right on paper only works when people can get the support they need. That’s what Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) make possible.

Congress made the biggest cuts to Medicaid in history last year. Now, many states are considering options that could reduce access to HCBS.

I tried a sample of one of your WFPBB's at Henrietta Pride tonight, and, ummmmm, can I just say... WOW! The sample drew me in for sure, but after just consuming a whole one in a few, mere moments, I now get exactly why they're $11/2... and well-worth that price. You have something really special there. You were both so friendly and informative, and I really appreciated the Asiago Cheese Bread sample, too. NGL, I ate it cold in the car without heating it (because I just couldn't wait to taste it...), and it was STILL amazing. Anyway, so great to hear that you guys have a booth on Sundays, and I can't wait to come get more goodies from you again at the Brighton market soon!
