Seasonal Fall and Halloween votive perfume candles have arrived in the Etsy shop and website! These are 3.oz natural perfume soy wax tins that come in six scents of the matching seasonal perfume line up from MGA perfumes of Autumn Embers, Broomsticks, Ghost and Haunts, Night of the Spirits, Shadow of the Cat, The Lady in Black, Octubre and Under the Harvest Moon.Perfect to burn in small room and or personal space while curling up with a good ghost story book, horror movie or vampire glass of wine (me)for the season to set the Fall Halloween ambiance and mood. My favorites to burn are Night of the Spirits and Octobre:) standard MGA candles will make a new debut in the coming months as I am working on a special new line for those.My studio has become a house of wax the past month but I enjoyed making these to share.

Happy to announce the new perfume scent release for the season which will be part of the MGA line. A scent idea that had been in formulation for a few years but finally came to be as fall approaches with cool nights, ghost stories and tales with the family becomes more common place the next few months . This is based off of one of the many moral but scary stories told to me growing up about a witch lady who was half owl bird half woman and would at night seek out children who were misbehaving or not alseep when they should be. She would sit on rooftops scratching for you to come out and see or menicingly laugh or whistle and if you called back she would swoop down and sn**ch you up!Just one story my Hispanic family would tell us among many others to scare us into being well behaved children. Does not work on my children though.. they want to meet her. Introducing “La Lechuza”.
There are stories told she sold her soul, now as half woman half owl she lives.
You will know she is near for in the night trees you will hear the diabolical laugh and whistle she gives.“ A dark, resinous and antiquated scent made as tribute to Spanish folklore and myth. Created with essential oils of thyme, opopanax, styrax, myrrh, amyris frankincense, black pepper, labdanum absolute, ambrette CO2 infused in resins of pinon, amber, myrrh,opopanax, styrax, thyme herbs and black peppercorns.

Woke up to some distressing news from the service after I did an upgrade. Apparently I will not be able to offer free shipping on International Orders as I have been doing for so many years. Due to rate increase and a major change in policies for shipping light items in envelope form as I have been , the cost increase is outrageously higher and not something I can adjust or absorb moving forward. I am so very sorry to those customers who this will affect but I must comply to postal service rules... though I am not liking this change at all. All US Orders will continue with Free Shipping. Rates did increase for US as well but not much .So sadly all International Orders placed at MGA Etsy shop and the website will no longer be offered Free Shipping effective today. All prior orders placed this past week and during the sale will be sent out accordingly and extra shipping paid and covered.

A day late due to bad winter weather yesterday🌬 but YES, MGA is having a Winter Sale over at the Etsy shop today 1/18 thru Sunday 1/21! Winter scents will be taken down on Monday (I extended that)and this is a great time to pick up a few of the Valentine scents ;) My goodness, January is almost gone can you believe it?! So I must start to make room for the spring scents and prepare new batches for depleted stock scents.🌷Always something brewing in the studio☪ and am very much looking forward to spring?H🐇How about you?

MGA wil be closed December 13th thru December 26th for holiday vacation.☃❄ All orders placed before then will continue to be processed and shipped out by the end of the week. MGA website will remain open for browsing but if an order is placed it will not be processed until I return on the 26th .(www.midnightgypsyalchemy.com)
I am looking forward to spending time with my little family, sleeping in until 5am instead of 3:30 am and starting some new projects for the business.
Oh and yes there will be some wine🍷 and gin drinking somewhere along the way🍸
