Since I took over Refresh House I knew we had to bring matcha to our customers. But I couldn’t just add some matcha powder to the blend and call it a day.

First, it had to taste like matcha. Second, it needed solid ingredients and real benefits to be a proper smoothie. Third, any additions had to enhance the matcha experience, not overpower it.

We ended up with a blend built around the notes matcha lovers already seek: nutty, umami.

We call it Almighty Matcha because it’s rich in antioxidants, gives you an energy kick, and packs probiotics, fiber, and protein. It doesn’t fit any of our existing smoothie categories because it does it all.

The smoothie came by default unsweetened but we offer options of sweeteners at no additional charge
You can choose up to two from the following

• Maple syrup
• Agave
• our house made Strawberry swirl

If you like sweet matcha my recommendation is maple syrup and strawberry swirl!

Making quality dashi takes hours of prep, so a dashi pack is a lifesaver pantry staple. Every times I go back to Japan I have to stock up Kayanoya’s dashi packs. I was so glad to see that they have a shop in New York and was able to work with them to bring their dashi to Refresh House. Kayanoya’s original dashi, consommé, and freeze dried miso soup packs are now available at Refresh House!
