We are blown away by the response to our opening reservation sign-ups! Our expectations were completely exceeded, and we currently have over a month of sign-ups booked out for when we open. Seeing the excitement from the Redding community makes all of our efforts worth it.
We wanted to give you an honest update on where we are in the process:
1. The Location:
We’ve had a lease in hand since July for a fantastic spot in Downtown Redding. We delayed signing until we had all of our finances completely solidified. We’re thrilled to say the financial side is now solid and ready to go!
2. The Final Hurdle: Liquor License
Our biggest next step is securing our liquor license. The Shasta County ABC license lottery takes place this September, and there is only one single license being released for the county this year.
3. What This Means For Our Opening Timeline
* Best-Case Scenario: If we secure the license in September, our goal is to start the buildout by November of this year (pending location availability).
* Alternative Scenario: If we are unable to get the license this round, we will have to wait for the next license lottery in September 2027 to secure one and begin buildout.
