[ HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO FLY IN SPOKANE , WA TODAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2026 ]
First and foremost, I want to give all honor and glory to God, who is the head of my life. Without Him, none of this would be possible.
As it is written: "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed." - Proverbs 19:17
Thank you so much for this honor and for allowing me to receive this award today.
Kingdom For Christ Ministries, KFC, started years ago in Spokane, Washington. My uncle gave me the name KFC - Kingdom For Christ - and told me to make a page and tell people about the Lord.
It started while I was a member of Bethel AME Church in Spokane. I would stand on the corner by the school, then go into the low-income apartments in the Perry District every day. I drove the truck for the food bank for my church, and UGM blessed me with food — cupcakes, candy, fruit, vegetables — to give to the kids. They knew where I lived. They would ring my bell and sit on my stairs and eat their ice cream.
From there, God shifted my ministry. I married a homeless man of 11 years, who is now my husband, Pastor Louis Bonds. And my heart went from the children to the homeless community.
Today we still serve the homeless in Racine, Wisconsin.
I want to thank all the volunteers over the years — some who have passed away, my best friend Gayle R.I.P some who are still doing God‘s work for KFC-Kingdom For Christ Ministries , When I moved from Spokane to Racine, I still kept feeding the homeless.
Thank you Bethel for this award, and bread of life ministries it is now under the umbrella of KFC - Thanks to my husband Pastor Bonds, and most of all, thank you again to God for letting me be a servant.
God bless you all.
