A recent rehearsal dinner set up in the Rug Room ✨ if you are planning an event, we would love to host you! We’ve got private options for groups as small as 11 and as large as 50 at both brunch and dinner. Baby showers, wedding weekend celebrations, birthdays, family reunions, company parties - we’ve done it all and then some. Heads up, we won’t be at the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust or Kittery Community Market farmer’s markets this weekend (10/3 & 10/4). We’ve got some exciting things on the horizon and need a little time to get ready for that. We promise, it will be worth it!!! Come visit us on Fore St in Portland if you need your fix, and we’ll be back at the markets the following week! 😘

🫛 COAL-ROASTED POLE BEANS 🫛
Summer beans!!! Dandelion Spring Farm haricot vert, bleu cocoa, gold rush, and dragon langerie beans are roasted in a grill pan on the coals until they blister but retain a lot of their snap. We toss them in a chili-garlic vinaigrette and place them over a tahini sauce made with fermented chili pulp, rice w**e vinegar, and honey. Summer basils, toasted sesame, and stone fruit finish off the plate.

Available on our dinner menu while beans are in season!

🐠 GULF OF MAINE PO***CK 🐠

Another dish inspired by Chef Jeremy’s travels! A Thai style curry that starts with shallots reduced down with coconut milk and our house-made red curry paste. We add heirloom tomatoes and then blend it all together while the tomatoes are still quite raw, giving it brightness and acidity. A fresh salad from cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, Anaheim peppers, lime leaf, lemon balm, cilantro, and basil hides under the fish itself, which is topped with a toasted rice crisp and cilantro-lime leaf powder.
