Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere! 🎃

Dinner with a river view at The Old Mill Restaurant, and a couple of little black bears joining us at the table!

Before the shops, the restaurants and the visitors, mornings here must have looked very different.

The Old Mill stood among farms, and people came here because they needed to. They brought their corn and wheat to be ground, caught up with neighbors, traded news and probably lingered longer than they planned.

Nearly 200 years later, people are still gathering here.

Different reasons. Different times. Same place.

Fall decorations are up and the temperatures are finally cooling down, so it’s actually starting to feel like fall around here. At least for today! 🍂

The mornings and evenings have been especially nice, and it’s a great time to walk around and see what’s happening at Pigeon River Pottery, The Old Mill Restaurant, The Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen, Candy Kitchen, and Pottery House Cafe.
