🌱 Garden Update 🌱
Our commissary garden is thriving.
Earlier this season, our Garden Gang partnered with Trellis for Tomorrow to plant the first crops as part of our 12th Street for Good initiative. Now, the harvest is just around the corner.
Once ready, the produce will be donated to a local food bank, helping provide fresh food to neighbors in our community.
Giving back is an important part of our culture at 12th Street Catering. Partnerships like this create opportunities for our team to make a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work.
We’re proud of how far this garden has come and excited to see the difference it will make.

Philly showed OFF this week 🇺🇸⚾🦅
We loved collaborating with Nihonbashi Philly for the Philly Opener hosted by the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation at the Independence Visitor Center — a celebration of everything that makes this city unforgettable.
Food. Sports. Hospitality. Obsession-level Philly pride.
As the city gears up for America 250, the MLB All-Star Game, FIFA World Cup excitement, and a huge tourism season ahead, it was incredible to be part of an event showcasing the energy and talent that define Philadelphia.
Huge shoutout to the Nihonbashi team, who cooked 800+ pounds of onions in our kitchens prepping for the event 👏

Philadelphia pride was on full display at this year’s Philly Opener, and we were honored to be part of it alongside Nihonbashi Philly.

Hosted by the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation Independence Visitor Center during Tourism Week, the event celebrated the people, food, culture, and energy that make Philadelphia such a special destination. With America 250, the MLB All-Star Game, FIFA World Cup events, and a major tourism season ahead, the excitement around our city is only growing.

The collaboration was incredible from start to finish, including the Nihonbashi team cooking more than 800 pounds of onions in our kitchens to prep for the event.

Thank you to the Independence Visitor Center and Cashman & Associates for hosting such a memorable evening and for letting 12th Street Catering be part of the celebration. Philly is ready for the spotlight.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with C-CAP Philadelphia to support the next generation of culinary talent.

Chef Adam recently welcomed students from Randolph High School into our commissary kitchen, where they prepped their featured dish for tonight’s Philly Pheast fundraiser—char-grilled octopus with romesco, shaved fennel, potatoes & saffron aioli.

Tonight, those same students are showcasing their work as part of a four-course dinner alongside fellow young chefs across the city.

We’re honored to be in such great company with The People's Kitchen, Constellation Culinary Group, and Feast Your Eyes Catering, all coming together to support this important mission.

Programs like this are shaping the future of our industry—and we’re grateful to play a small part.
