Our final moonlight market is this evening… sad to see them go! This has been a wonderful first time market in Owasso… and guys I want to thank you! I will definitely be seeing more of you!

Tonight I will have most of the local favorite flavors plus we have added.. root-beer ,fireball, fruit punch and buttered pop corn!

A little smaller than our usual Moonlight Market, but still a really great lineup for our make-up night!!

Because this Thursday was added to replace the market we lost to wildfire smoke earlier this summer, not every vendor from the original date was able to rearrange their schedules and come back. But we are really excited about the group that could make it, and there is still a LOT happening at Curwood Castle Park!

Check out the map for tomorrow’s lineup. We’ll have local makers, artists, food vendors and small businesses, plus FREE face painting, FREE airbrushed tattoos, FREE petting zoo from Crazy Acre Farm, the Impart Alliance mobile training truck, and plenty to eat and drink.

And just across the river, there is another great Summer Concert Series performance at the Owosso Amphitheater!

Honestly, a slightly smaller market also means a little more room to wander and more attention for every vendor who was able to join us. We would love to give them a great crowd and finish the Moonlight Market season on a high note!

Join us TOMORROW NIGHT from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Curwood Castle Park for a huge night of local food, treats, art, books, handmade goods and family fun! We’ll have the petting zoo, free face painting, free balloon animals and free airbrushed tattoos, and a live concert all right along the Shiawassee River!

We are especially excited to welcome MSU’s Impart Alliance and its 45-foot mobile training unit! IMPART is working to strengthen Michigan’s direct care workforce, and this incredible truck helps bring hands-on training directly into communities across the state. Come check it out and learn more about the skills and careers that help older adults and people with disabilities live safely and independently.

Then at 7 p.m., Simply In Time takes the stage at the Owosso Amphitheater across the river for a free concert filled with funk, classic rock, R&B, Yacht Rock and instrumental jams. Their music draws from artists like Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, David Bowie, Cake, Wild Cherry, Vulfpeck, Cory Wong and plenty more!

The Shiawassee Arts Center will also be open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with its Year of the Nonprofit exhibit, celebrating the local organizations that serve and strengthen our community. Curwood Castle and Comstock Cabin will be open too, so there will be something happening everywhere you turn.

Right now, the weather is looking just about perfect: upper 70s, cloudy and a 10% or lower chance of rain. Come hungry, bring the kids, shop local, walk the riverfront and stay for the music. It’s going to be a GREAT night in Downtown Owosso!
